cutie pies

What is it about felt balls?...I can't get enough of them. I know, something is seriously wrong with me. I think that just about anything looks cuter with a few felty deedle-balls!

These little bowls are made from recycled wool sweaters bonded to wool felt. Attaching the balls draws up the edges and makes that cute little pie crust effect. Oh boy, here I go again with the food references. Must be all of the cherry pie I ate last weekend in Door County!

Those are the cutest things ever! How do you attach the felt balls?

I sewed the felt balls on, like stringing beads. Hmmm...maybe I'll do a tutorial.

These are great - how do you keep coming up with such wonderful ideas? Maybe it IS the cherry pie - that sounds like a good excuse to tuck in!
