I made these wool "pennies" from sweater scraps and from the windfall of wool fabric I received this summer.I don't know why I'm so drawn to circles lately.
First there was the new bath mat...
then there was the remnant that became a pillow...
Then my SIGG bottle joined in...
And finally an article in the Fall 2007 issue of Creative Home on "penny rugs" by a woman named Mary Knowles.Circles! In wool! What could be better?
And now I can't stop making them. So many scraps, so many possibilities....
