busy girl...

...busy weekend!

As promised, I was able to put together more Cupcake Tape Measure Kits for the shop! New colorways, pink with brown and a nice bright combo: turquoise with red. (There's a few other goodies added to the shop as well!)

I've got all of last weeks kits packed and ready to ship today or tomorrow before I head out of town again. This time I'm heading to Wisconsin.

About a year ago when we moved here to Maryland from Wisconsin, I was invited to do a week long DIY artist residency in Sheboygan, WI at the John Michael Kohler Art Center. I mentioned my MYOB (make your own bag) workshop once before...and now the time has come! It'll be a treat to head back "home" and I do have plans to catch up with a few dear friends while I am there.

The blog here will be a bit sparse as I will be away and unsure of my internet access. However, if you live in WI and want to check out the workshop, I'd love to see you! Visit the JMKAC website for details.

Have a wonderful week. I can't wait to share my trip upon my return! (Excuse me while I go look for my sunflower shirt...)

*gasp!* Finally a perk for living in Wisconsin!! I've got to check my calendar and see if, perhaps, I can make the short trek to Kohler!! How fun would that be???

Wisconsin welcomes you back! I grew up near Sheboygan, and love the Kohler Art Center. Have a great time with the workshop - looks like fun.

Betz, maybe you'll make a book tour close to western Canada?

Your kits look like a wonderful additon to your wooly creations. I really enjoyed your first book and am looking forward to your second.

I love these - a modern take on a tape measure I remember my Grandmother having that came out of a stuffed tomato!
