magic

We are home again, safe and sound from our trip to Disney World. Wow. We hit all four parks (one a day!) and managed to see and do just about everything we had hoped to.

I didn't take many photos, but this is one of my favorites. Here are my boys at the Magic Kingdom in from of Cinderella's castle. The statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse directly behind them is called "Partners". It was morning and we had just walked up the main street. The crowds were light, there was music and bubbles in the air. It almost made me tear up thinking about Walt Disney, what he brought to the world and my own memories of Disney as a kid. I know it sounds sappy, but it really is magic.

Crazy exhausting magic...but truly wonderful!

Glad you had fun. I love the magic kingdom early in the morning. It has to be the best time to be in the parks. Glad you had fun.

Sounds like a fun time!

I found your blog a couple of weeks ago and now I'm on the look out for wool sweaters at the thrift stores. I've only managed to find TWO! Everything they have is acrylic. Grrrr! (I really want to make a wreath like the one you posted recently)

Did you stay on the property? We're thinking about going this coming spring but we're looking at renting a house (cheaper, can cook our own food, private swimming pool, etc.) as well as staying on site (close to the action, early park passes, etc.)

aliciatodd,
We stayed in a Disney resort, luckily my parents' treat. It was good to be "close", but honestly it's so big nothing about it is really close! No car to rent, either. A big plus!

Been to Disney twice and I like Seaworld and live animal parks much better. Also it is horrible how much the tickets cost! and the salary of Michale Eisner! The average middle class family cannot afford to go there.
