green and serene

My editor, Melanie Falick, has posted a few alternate cover concepts for Sewing Green over on her blog. Don't you wish your sewing space was al fresco, such as this one? Complete with a tall glass of lemonade and bowl of fresh berries. Ahhh...

While you're visiting  Melanie's site, check out my Q&A and discover fascinating facts, like why the neighbors glance at me sideways and what I aspire to be when I grow up. :)

I enjoyed the Q&A -- thanks for posting the link!

I have to admit, I had been wondering where you got all those juice pouches!

What a pretty picture of your niece!

The funny thing is that I was just thinking of doing this the other day...it was sunny and beautiful with a nice warm breeze. I was ready to get out the extension cord and start sewing right on the deck.

That looks and sounds wonderful--the lemonade sealed the deal.
