Attendees were armed with handknit socks and rugged clogs. Their quest for fiber was unfettered by the weather!
Some in attendance resorted to a snuggle in the hay. Naturally.
Others, such as the ironically named Sunnyland Band, just had themselves a soggy ol' hootenanny.
This is what my hair resembled by the end of the day. :)Despite the dampness (and now a cold!) I am comforted just by admiring the yummy yarn I scored. Can't wait to get knitting!

WOW!
cool stuff!
I love those critters, too...
but are they... twitter critters!? hah!
okay.
That looks like fun! The sheep are incredibly cute and the yarn looks great! I'm sure it was a great event.
oh, I wish I had braved it. I was going to go on Saturday but they were saying it would be raining so I thought - okay, I'll go Sunday. Then Saturday turned out great and Sunday was a mess! It's the first time I've missed MD sheep and wool in many many many years. I'm so mad at myself for not going Saturday as I had planned. I'm glad you had fun! Is that some socks that rock yarn I see? oohh, I'm boo hooing now.
Beautiful yarn colors! Once I saw the process of making the alpaca yarn, it is such a hard work, so I really appreciate people who does it so we can enjoy the beatiful end result.
Darn - didn't see you there! Love the photo of all the clogs and hand-knit socks (that's what my sister was wearing; I resorted to sneakers). The sheep were lovely, and yarns were lovelier, the border collies were fabulous as was the music. A fantabulous festival!
