Since February is the month of *LOVE* I plan on spending the month sharing the love shown for Stitch! Stitch Organic is my first print collection with Robert Kaufman. Over the last year you've heard the news, seen the sneak peek, the big reveal, and followed me to Quilt Market. Finally at the end of 2011, Stitch shipped!
In honor of my "baby" being out in the world, I am hosting a give-away of this big stack of Stitch Organic Fat Quarters! That's 22 prints in all!
Over yonder in the sidebar-----> you'll see a new "Stitching for Stitch" Flickr photo pool. It would make my little heart sing to see projects that you've sewn using Stitch. I've gotten the ball rolling with some of my projects and a few new members have already joined me. Check it out for inspiration!
Also, for your clicking pleasure in the sidebar, is a button that will take you to a Stitch Info page. You'll see a slide show of the full collection plus links to shops that carry the fabric. I'm slowly building my stockist list, so if you are a shop (online or neighborhood) that carries Stitch, email me and I will add your shop to the list!
All right already...on with the give-away! (Since this is a big fat heavy stack, I'm limiting the give-away to US mailing address only!)
To enter, leave a comment before midnight EST, Friday February 10th, 2012. In your comment I would love to know: What kinds of prints do you gravitate towards? Florals? Geometrics? Modern? Traditional? Large scale? Ditsy prints? Bold colors? Muted palettes? Do tell!
Winner will be chosen randomly and notified via email, so be sure to leave contact info. Special thanks to Robert Kaufman for donating the fabric!
***Comments now closed! Winner will be notified via email. Thank you!***

what a great give-away! I definitely gravitate toward large scale bold floral and geometric patterns. Ha, and I agree with Under the Willow above: a fabric store is like a candy shop!
ReplyDeleteLove all the different fabric! How fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI tend to gravitate towards more traditional fabric!
cristyannie (at) gmail (dot) com
I have a stack of yardage of Stitch next to me waiting to be whole-cloth free motion quilted! I am a lover of folk art inspired prints. Polish, Scandinavian, South American are some of my favorites. COLOR is a must! I search for prints that are coherent in a 7 inch square, that are easy to trace as I quilt. Some extra negative space is a big plus for sneaking in micro-stippling. I am excited to be using Stitch to launch my organic line this year.
ReplyDeleteLet's see, I love traditional prints, florals and geometrics both bold and more subtle colors as well!
ReplyDeleteI like prints that I can mix so that they look like a genuine scrap quilt.
ReplyDeleteI gravitate toward bold colors and prints. Sometimes, I have to restrain myself (yeah, right) and buy a solid here or there. I can't wait to buy Stitch!
ReplyDeleteI love any print that looks like it belongs in a Swedish fairytale. How's that for specific?
ReplyDeleteI love this collection! Thanks for offering a give-away. I find myself returning to large florals over and over again... in any and all color schemes, but usually cabbage roses and the like.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of modern prints, but love a good mix!
ReplyDeleteAnne.watkins528@gmail.com
I gravitate towards neutrals! Amy @ gasudimack(at)sbcglobal(dot)net
ReplyDeleteI love Modern Geometrics in bold colors
ReplyDeleteGeeezzz, I thought I had entered this giveaway, and then my daughter in Sweden told me about it, and I looked and cannot find my name. I love large-scale prints, bright bold colors, and geometrics such as dots and stripes to go with the large prints.
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing and incredibly generous!
ReplyDeleteWhen I choose fabric it really depends on my mood and the project I am preparing to make but I do tend to choose bold and funky over any other.
I have been on the search for some nice organic fabric to start something I haven't tried yet which is sewing clothes for my toddler and her dolls and these fabrics would be perfect! Not only because of the designs but because my daughter has been an organic/green baby since birth :)
I own an earth friendly brand - Dandelion! We're looking for new opportunities using organic fabrics for children's toys! LOVE your prints!
ReplyDeleteLove natural hues and natural patterns with occasional splashes of bright colors.
ReplyDeletemeglscud@gmail.com
i love fabrics with a vintage feel. i am crazy about fabric in general though!
ReplyDeleteRecently I have really been enjoying bright fabrics and bolder prints, thanks for a wonderful giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love florals, polka dots, and vintage inspired prints. I like both muted and bold colors, depending on my mood and the season. :)
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I love all the patterns...the generosity & the fact that you go organic!
ReplyDeleteI love the florals with big prints and your vintage styling. I so appreciate your designs. Thank you for continuing to push forward.
Be well.. Sunshine & happiness. Kimm
I like me some nature inspired prints... with muted backgrounds that have variations in color to create depth.
ReplyDeleteI think it really comes down to an issue of color to me - it's the first thing I see. If the pattern showcases the colors well, chances are, it will be going home with me.
ReplyDeleteI love old timey patterns, like old florals, cute whimsical designs like old fashioned children (the kind with big heads and poofy diapers), and gingham!
ReplyDeleteI really just walk up and down the fabric isles and see what grabs my eye and holds my attention! So i guess its probably colors and combinations of colors that first grab me then the print. That being said i suppose florals and modern patterns in the right colors are my fav!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
Jen Graz
thank you for such a fabulous opportunity!!
ReplyDeleteI gravitate toward large scale floral prints in bold colors, I love COLOR!!! <3

I just love a good stripe! Thanks for hosting a great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI love bright, bold colors, florals, and modern fabrics- large or small scale. Your Stitch collection is beautiful! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI love the vintage look and color and so much more. The look of the color combos in this bundle are just the thing I love. In fact it would be the perfect birthday gift for my 60th birthday on February 10. Thank for all your inspirations, Betz! valiegal
ReplyDeleteI love florals and I am a sucker for paisley. Seems so old school, but I love the look. I like deep colors. If I want some something differentI have to take my daughter fabric shopping with me, she helps me step out of the box and choose fun fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI think it really depends on the project. Although have recently made some purchases just because I loved the prints (Catkin, and some deco-style dragonflies) and don't have the slightest clue what I'll do with them. I love batiks, subtle textured "solids", and almost anything with stars, moons, or other celestial objects.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win. Stitch looks awesome!
Your line is beautiful!! I love modern prints, usually in bright bold colors, and I have a special place in my heart for stripes. Anything that reminds me of candy makes me happy. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a "take no prisoners" kinda woman so I like bold prints.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the lovely giveaway and good luck with this new project.
ReplyDeleteI gravitate more towards the cool spectrum, and I love modern color combinations such as grey/mustard or aqua/orange

Large graphic florals or small ditsy prints are usually my favorites. I'm always trying to expand my horizons, but I'm a bit traditional at heart!
ReplyDeleteI love to work with small scale classic prints. Throw in some large scale florals for fun!
ReplyDeletewow how great is this... i tend to love prints in bold colors.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this opportunity! In looking at my fabric stash, I seem to gravitate to vintage florals in bold colors.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteWhat isn't to love about beautiful
fabric. I love them all. Bright,
bold, soft and all for me to treasure.
Jody
At the moment, I like brighter colors and geometric patterns, but I'll admit that I'm fickle--it's often whatever beautiful fabric or print I've seen last.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the giveaway! Your fabric is gorgeous!
I love toile in any color/pattern - not sure why but haven't met a toile I didn't like ; ) If I win this stack, can I make the stich along tote out of it or does that take larger bits of fabric? Congratulations! Jill
ReplyDeleteThe fabrics are just beautiful! I tend to gravitate toward florals, but also love bold colors!
ReplyDeleteI love big bold prints but I also love medium size ones in moderate colors. I go back and forth depending on my mood.
ReplyDeleteTHe fabric line you show here is very swoon worthy.
I tend to go for bright, fun prints the most but I also like Little House on the Prairie-type prints.
ReplyDeleteI love geometrics and modern...but then I also love to add a little whimsy and fun into things too! You've created a beautiful fabric line!!
ReplyDeleteI see myself as a traditional girl. But I have been making myself buy outside of my comfort box. It makes it fun!!
ReplyDeleteI love your new line! Thanks for the opportunity!
ellyk_11 at yahoo dot com
Love modern smaller prints with geometric designs (LOVE circles) or adorable little animals. My husband makes fun of me for being a magnet to cute little fat animals with beady eyes...I just can't resist. I also love any fabric that is gray...I'm obsessed right now with gray fabrics and I think I see one in that bundle! Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeletei definitely migrate toward bold, modern, geometric prints with some great small scale, monochrome accent fabrics too. i love this collection!
ReplyDeleteWow do I love this fabric! You picked my favorite colors! Or maybe just the brightness of the colors? Not sure, but I can't even say which one is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteOrganic fabric is hard to find in my area. So glad to see some (& so pretty at that!). I love vintage mini florals in reds, pinks, and baby blues.
ReplyDeleteHei!
ReplyDeleteI love all kind of big and geomatric and colorful fabrics.
I'm from Europa and I love to win that give away. So I would pay for the shipping - if I win *fingers crossed*

I like medium hue with bright colors if that makes sence. Sort of why I never have lights or darks in my stash. The prints well ditsy as you put it to medium scale, geometric, traditional, modern, some floral. Thanks for the opportunity to win a fab stack!
ReplyDeleteIt depends on my mood. I love all kinds of prints.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI am still a novice sewer. I gravitate to interesting solids/tonals and more novelty prints: usually large scale and themed, animals, knitting, ocean, etc. But these look super awesome and will be definitely something I'll buy if it is available at my local shop.
I love bright colors! If it pops off the fabric in some way, I am IN!
ReplyDeleteallthingsfee.blogspot.com
oh my goodness.... I saw your prints on fabrics.com yesterday (loved them!) I am planning to make a spring picnic quilt for backyard picnics this year. then I see Blair's post this morning- where she gives you a beautiful "shout out!"~ and I think.... hmmm... destiny has its cards on the table. nice job with STITCH!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Betz on the debut of your wonderful collection!! I love sweet baby prints, lovely florals, geometric, vintage, tonal prints, soft tones & bold colors - depends on the project! Thanks for all the beauty you share with the world:)
ReplyDeletedwhitford@tds.net
I like more modern, non-flowery prints. I got a couple yards of a few of the Stitch prints-can't wait to sew with them!
ReplyDeleteI initially was going to say I like muted colors, but I am so indecisive, I really think my fabric choices reflect my mood at the time I am buying.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome giveaway! I love all fabrics and the print/colors depend on what room I'm in. Here lately though, I've like muted, simple prints.
ReplyDeletekkrisdan28@aol.com
Very generous givaway! And such beautiful fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI personally go for geometric prints and small florals.
Thanks!
They're gorgeous prints! I just discovered them through another post, and i'm glad!
ReplyDeleteI can't really pin it down what prints I like best, but in general, I like bold colors and modern prints. Thanks for the chance to win such beautiful fabric!
ReplyDeletesunset.sewing(at)gmail dot com
I love bold, bright prints; they add a real pop of color to a room. But, I also like stripes and other patterned prints. It just depends on the mood, I guess! :)
ReplyDeleteI am mostly drawn to bright and rich colors, so this set of prints is intensely awesome for me! Super excited to know it's out there!
ReplyDeleteHello Betz,
ReplyDeleteI like the muted traditional fabrics and the bold bright moderns, go figure! LOVE your line :)
Suzanne
Truly I think I gravitate toward them all for different purposes. For myself I prefer blues and greens. For my kiddos bright bold colors. For my house a more muted palette. I didn't make it easy for you now did I.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful collection! I love traditional prints, polka dots and stripes, and bold florals.
ReplyDeleteI just love fabric of any kind! Seriously, traditional and modern seem to be my most often chosen for my stash.
ReplyDeleteA peek at my stash reveals a love for deep or bright colors, tone-on-tone, large floral or abstract prints, birds and flowers, and a preference for off-white backgrounds.
ReplyDeleteThe stitchery references in your fabrics are charming! i love them!
I gravitate towards black and white fabrics and primary colors! Since I end up making a lot of baby quilts, the primary colors are always a hit!
ReplyDeleterosemc2 at juno dot com
This is a beautiful collection. I always admire those lovely muted creations that some people make but, in truth, I'm a colour junkie - bold bright and preferably with some huge florals!
ReplyDeleteJennifer
I love modern/geometric/bold prints!
ReplyDeleteThanks!!!
ZoeViolet(at)live(dot)com

ReplyDeleteI love retro prints, with lots of color. Your new line is great.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful collection ! My taste in fabrics is always changing but right now I am enjoying those early 20th century repro floral prints...and anything vintage looking. Thank you for the giveaway !
ReplyDeleteI like more contemporary fabrics with medium to small scale florals and geometrics in almost any color. However, I'm not a fan of pink - more into blues, greens, browns, and jewel tones as in your stack.
ReplyDeleteI love these prints. I have lately been gravitating to the florals.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors and designs of your fabric, so fun.
ReplyDeleteI like modern prints with bold colors in general, but it really depends on the project,
crosby0 (at) gmail.com
bright & whimsical - usually bought without a real plan, creating a stash that's on hand when creativity strikes :)
ReplyDeleteI like Geometric prints, bright colors and some small prints. I also like prints with kids/boys stuff on them. :)
ReplyDeleteI love bright colors, and more contemporary than traditional, but not too edgy.
ReplyDeleteI love it all...especially when in a generous giveaway! Congratulations, so exciting!
ReplyDeleteI love Civil War/reproduction fabrics for quilts and bright and bold for bags. Your fabrics are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteohhh... what a great giveaway! and what i tend to gravitate towards are bold, modern patterns. however, i also love me some florals. :)
ReplyDeleteI have such a hard time deciding with prints. I like using bold, modern prints, but I'm also fond of muted, traditional prints. I guess it depends what I'm using it for!
ReplyDeleteI definitely gravitate toward blenders, single color pallets, and anything GREEN!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic giveaway! My taste sort of waver but right now I lean more towards geometric and floral.
ReplyDeleteI like prints that are small and fun.. I am starting to like small florals which is quite odd for me! Congratulations on your line!
ReplyDeleteOf late, I've been leaning toward whimsical japanese prints - just made a purse from older echino viewmaster reel fabric. I really like bolder colors, geometrics.
ReplyDeleteI am such a traditional purist but am trying so hard to evolve into loving more then my regular go to/make a quilt fabric. I am really liking the bold color combinations and the big florals are calling me more and more. I have several large paisleys in my stash and feel I will have an epiphany soon on what I want to make with them. Thanks for a nice giveaway. Your fabric rocks
ReplyDeleteI love all kinds of fabrics...dainty florals, bold colors, monocromatic, muted colors... I buy what what my eye is drawn to.

ReplyDeleteI DEFINITELY tend to gravitate toward bold colors! Kim kguerrier@strongtie.com
ReplyDeleteI really like modern prints, but ones that still harken back to a traditional style--less Marimekko, more Josef Frank. And I LOVE these prints you've created! I hope I win, but even if I don't, they still need to become a quilt in my house!
ReplyDeleteWoot! This is fabulous, lady! I am lovin' these colors and, of course, the content. I tend to gravitate towards bright colors and large scale geometric prints. The choice also depends a bit on the project. I often lean towards muted pastels and primaries for baby items. I am quickly learning I need more small scale, though, to use as complements and fillers. Thanks for the fabulous giveaway!
ReplyDeletesmall prints, funky prints (anything with campers) or vintage-y art nouveau.
ReplyDeleteI love modern, vintage, and everything in between! I love your new fabric line, I just saw it at the fabric store the other day, they only had three prints, but it's beautiful! And I especially love that it's organic!
ReplyDeleteI graviate towards florals of all sizes. I bought some Liberty in LA about 20 years ago for about 9$ a yard. I made a dress and gave it away. I didn't know what I had! Yikes. I could wear it now and I wish I had kept it!
ReplyDeleteI love large scale but hate to cut into it. I like bright, small, geometric prints and don't forget solids. *LOVE* your latest!
ReplyDeleteI love all the modern prints, especially when paired with muted colors. This combo leaves more visual space for the shape of the finished project or embellishment.
ReplyDeleteGeometrics and bold colors, definitely! So exciting!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! Thanks for the chance to win them.
ReplyDeleteI love prints that make me smile, always gravitate to happy colors, and usually can't resist stripes. Love your new line and the inspiration behind it! leahclaireh(at)gmail(dot)com

ReplyDeleteMy eyes are attracted to the combination of colors more than the size of the print or the style of the print. I tend to gravitate to cool colors.
ReplyDeleteI think I would have said geometrics or florals before looking at your collection, and truthfully there is not one piece of fabric there that I don't like! I like the stitched look ones a lot, they remind me of some of my favorite scrapbook papers. Thanks for offering this giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThose are so lovely! Right now I'm realizing that my tastes are now skewing more modern, such a change from the way I usually approach patterns. I was a floral girl for so long.............

Put me in for the drawing! Love the new prints. You always have such fun stuff!
ReplyDeleteI am not kidding when I say that I've been eyeing this collection since its debut, and have the perfect fat quarter quilt pattern in mind to put these to good use. The stitched flowers and patchwork prints are my favorites. This is an amazing giveaway - thank you, and Robert Kaufman too! If my name is chosen (I hope! I hope!) please contact me through my blog. :)
ReplyDeleteColors usually draw my eye before prints, but I love all different types. Right now I seem to be buying more geometric prints.
ReplyDeleteI must be honest...I have always loved Liberty prints!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your beautiful new collection of fabric! Love the bright, clear colors and modern prints! kewilson7@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors/combinations & patterns! I usually gravitate towards retro 50s & 60s prints, leaf patterns, modern florals, batiks, tonal groupings. I have recently been attracted to bolder color groupings - after too many years of muted color combos. I'd love to use your fabrics to make something for my 4 yo daughter, perhaps a comforter cover/quilt or some fun dolls/stuffed animals.
ReplyDelete
