Since February is the month of *LOVE* I plan on spending the month sharing the love shown for Stitch! Stitch Organic is my first print collection with Robert Kaufman. Over the last year you've heard the news, seen the sneak peek, the big reveal, and followed me to Quilt Market. Finally at the end of 2011, Stitch shipped!
In honor of my "baby" being out in the world, I am hosting a give-away of this big stack of Stitch Organic Fat Quarters! That's 22 prints in all!
Over yonder in the sidebar-----> you'll see a new "Stitching for Stitch" Flickr photo pool. It would make my little heart sing to see projects that you've sewn using Stitch. I've gotten the ball rolling with some of my projects and a few new members have already joined me. Check it out for inspiration!
Also, for your clicking pleasure in the sidebar, is a button that will take you to a Stitch Info page. You'll see a slide show of the full collection plus links to shops that carry the fabric. I'm slowly building my stockist list, so if you are a shop (online or neighborhood) that carries Stitch, email me and I will add your shop to the list!
All right already...on with the give-away! (Since this is a big fat heavy stack, I'm limiting the give-away to US mailing address only!)
To enter, leave a comment before midnight EST, Friday February 10th, 2012. In your comment I would love to know: What kinds of prints do you gravitate towards? Florals? Geometrics? Modern? Traditional? Large scale? Ditsy prints? Bold colors? Muted palettes? Do tell!
Winner will be chosen randomly and notified via email, so be sure to leave contact info. Special thanks to Robert Kaufman for donating the fabric!
***Comments now closed! Winner will be notified via email. Thank you!***

What a generous offer: thank you.
ReplyDeleteI prefer traditional prints, but since I love the scrappy look, I also tend to mix things up a bit.
Beautiful fabric collection!
ReplyDeleteI gravitate toward Geometric prints, but also monochromatics and things like polka dots.
I love tiny prints, bright colors as well as geometrics. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI like smaller scale prints, and probably more folk artsy ones, although I do like modern as well. These prints look gorgeous from the little itty bit I can see...can you post pics of the full patterns? Would love to see them!
ReplyDeleteI love bold patterns in vintage color palettes with a modern twist!
ReplyDeleteHi Miriam,
ReplyDeleteTo see the full print collection click on the new Stitch logo button in my sidebar!
Thanks,
Betz
Fun! I hope I win. I think all the prints are lovely, but I tend to gravitate more towards the florals. I could have a lot of fun crafting with this stack!
ReplyDeleteI like large scale prints and bold colors mixed with neutrals. This is a gorgeous line, thanks for the chance at winning some!
ReplyDeleteand yes, I have a US mailing address :)
ourbusylittlebunch(at)hotmail(dot)com
Such a gorgeous collection! I tend to buy geometrics, modern, and large scale the most often. One of the things I love about this collection is the way you played with scale - especially the super-zoomed knit print!
ReplyDeleteI love small florals or things that look like they could have been vintage bed sheets. I also always love a good polka-dot!
ReplyDeleteI like interesting prints that are unique and typically not selected by the "crowd".
ReplyDeleteI love modern geometric prints (like dots and crosshatch--blenders) for quilting, large florals for clothing, and tiny prints for tiny patchwork projects and fabric earrings. So, I like it all!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! I like modern florals and geometrics, and bold (although not necessarily bright) colors. What a beautiful collection :)
ReplyDeleteI love modern colorful prints!
ReplyDeleteI lean more towards modern and geometrics, but I like to complement them with some florals too. Guess my style is "eclectic". Nothing too matchy-matchy. Love your new fabrics. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThe fabrics are bright and colorful with the perfect balance of lights and darks for easy blending when sewing. I gravitate to fabrics which are retro inspired along with complimenting basics like dots, stripes, swirls and dashes.
ReplyDeleteThat fabric is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI gravitate towards florals in medium prints, large is too large, small is too small and I like muted palettes but sometimes bolds speak to me. I'm usually intimidated by their loudness.
I lean toward soft, muted, and vintage. Bold colors are statement-makers, and I just don't make statements. I love working with bold colors for things to giveaway, though. They wake up my senses.
ReplyDeleteI am drawn primarily to florals... but I love traditional and geometric prints as well. I'm sort of a fabric junkie, actually. Variety is the spice of life, right?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new fabric! I tend to gravitate towards muted geometric prints, although I do have a special place in my heart for bright oversized florals.
ReplyDeleteI have such an eclectic taste in fabrics. I think it mostly depends on the project I'm working on. Overall I think it may be bold floral design that I buy the most of.
ReplyDeletethank you for the chance! i am streaky with my fabric choices, but find lately I'm enjoying vintage and vintage inspired fabrics, though i just received a bold, bright fat quarter pack for the holidays and am loving that as well
ReplyDeleteI love florals and dots and scrolls. I also love bright colors. Right now, I think of orange and turquoise!
ReplyDeleteblessed.mama4 at yahoo.com
I definitely gravitate to bold, geometric prints. And I would love to win this! It looks gorgeous. I am having a baby boy in a few months and it looks like there are lots of boy friendly prints in your set. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI tend to gravitate towards more modern prints in bold colors.
ReplyDeletemirja74 (at) comcast.net
It's hard to describe what I buy! It has to catch my eye in some way - sometimes that's the subject matter, sometimes it's what I'm needing in my stash, or using at the moment. I like bold colors, but I also like neutrals. Mostly modern prints, but some traditional too. I've found I don't use a lot of stripes, damasks, or small scale prints, and sometimes multi-colors are hard to work in. Taste is such a tricky particular thing, though!
ReplyDeleteI love geometric patterns that are modern take offs on vintage stuff. And COLORS! I always like color patterns on a white background - it really makes everything pop.
ReplyDeleteI love about anything but really like retro/vintage designs.
ReplyDeleteI think I lean towards "ditzy prints" as you suggested. In looking at my fabrics they are bold and prints with a lot of wonky design. Thanks for the giveaway. I really hope to win this bundle!
ReplyDeleteI prefer modern prints of all types, but am always drawn to prints that will do the hard work for me. By which I mean that their design provides movement and interest on its own. I like fabric designs that have something to say, some point of view--also known as "personality prints".
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win such a lovely stack of fabrics!
That stack of prints looks amazing-would fall off my chair if I won them, and would just sit and pet the quarters, but I digress...
ReplyDeletePrints I tend to favor are generally natural, organic looking-I love batik-ish, watercolor, marbeling, etc. and not-so-representational prints. When I look for fabrics, the color comes first, and the pattern second. I also appreciate prints that can be viewed from all perspectives-a kaleidoscope view, as it were.
Thanks for the opportunity to win these fabrics!

What a gorgeous collection! Love the colors! I tend to gravitate toward geometrics and florals equally and I love the modern fabrics!
ReplyDeleteMy favorites seem to change depending on the block design but I really love plaids, stripes, or dots for binding :o)
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! Right now I'm wanting to make a "Jane Brocket" quilt and so am going for bright colors -- specifically yellows. I do love florals but I don't think my husband wants a floral quilt so I need something more traditional -- maybe botanical.
ReplyDeleteI love a good combination - modern, muted with a splash of bright, geometric, and a nice floral thrown in from time to time! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI love to pick out bright fun fabrics. Geometrics are fun and I seem to collect novelty style fabrics alot.
ReplyDeleteI love large scale prints and geometrics (and of course organics)!
ReplyDeletejitterbug1 (at) gmail (dot) com
I love bright bold fabrics. Large and small prints. Oh how I would love to win this and decorate with your prints!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric collection!
ReplyDeleteI love flowers in the autumm colors.
Greetz.
Ria Zandbergen
love small florals and little circles, mostly like muted tones with a bright accent
ReplyDeleteI love bright colors and a mix of everything! I love changing things out with the seasons!
ReplyDeleteLovely! I love florals - small to medium in all colors and color combos.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the bold colors and definitely gravitate towards florals. These fabrics are beautiful :)
ReplyDeletelfetzer21@yahoo.com
Beautiful!!! I tend to gravitate towards bright geometric colors. I love stripes and dots.
ReplyDeleteWow that is a lovely stack of fabric. I love all colors and very modern. Thanks for the chance at a great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE modern bold prints for bags and hats and baby burp cloths, but I use alot of muted, ditsy, traditional prints for wall quilts. Lately my cravings for Spring have been affecting my quilt stash in a very vibrant way ^_^
ReplyDeleteYou can get a hold me either via my blog or here: tumus.etsy@yahoo.com
Keeping my fingers crossed!
Congratulations on your collection, it is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love modern prints in almost all colors, but sometimes I do like the more whimsical prints (I recently bought a half-yard of bright purple fabric w/ hedgehogs on it!).
craftyjunk at gmail
I'm always drawn to vintage-looking prints, and I like muted backgrounds with brightly colored accents, both florals and geometrics. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love stripes (for sashings and borders), florals, bold colors and muted backgrounds. Guess I really like it all. Love the blue/green portion of this line.
ReplyDeleteFabric is fascinating. Something I would never think is my style, jumps out at me. Next thing you know, I am making something different! Good to get out of my comfort zone sometimes.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics! Lately I've gotten modern florals. I intend to make some things for my little girls!
ReplyDeleteWOW These fabrics make me drool!
ReplyDeleteStrips, dots, flowers....bright colors. Mix and match them with neutrals. Thanks for the chance to win this bundle.
I just walk into a store and find whatever prints catch my eye. I guess I don't gravitate towards one particular kind. It really depends on the project I plan to make.
ReplyDeleteI like anything Vintage in bright primary colors
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of muted civil war fabrics, but I love using brights when I make quilts for my grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteHow fun; thank you! I prefer all-over, non-directional prints. Love paisleys! And bright, saturated, jewel colors.
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS prints! My favorite prints are - what ever my current is. I change all the time. Sometimes it's the color that excites me and others it's the prints. If you looked through my stash, you'd see some of everything. I'm consistently inconsistent!
ReplyDeleteI can't say that I just have one favorite. I love modern and traditional. It makes for a nice variety in sewing and keeps me from getting bored. I'm not a big fan of the 30's fabrics but other than that, it is whatever strikes my fancy.
ReplyDeleteI tend to favor florals
ReplyDeleteBetz, I love your new line. The colors and prints are lovely. I tend to gravitate toward more vintage style prints, softer, more linear, and retro looking.
ReplyDeleteWeel Bets, I love warm colors, in larger designs. This is fun
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to say that there is not very many prints that I don't like. I love bright, bold colors and things that just jump out at me and say "buy me"! Of course, I need some muted fabric too to mix and make things pleasing to the eye. Thanks for the giveaway! borealis625@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI general prefer larger florals in a cool palette. But I also like geometrics.
ReplyDeleteI tend to gravitate toward florals, but I love building my stash of geometrics to balance things out!
ReplyDeleteLately I've been digging geometric and abstract prints in bold colors.
ReplyDeleteLovely fabrics and such a generous give-a-way!!!! I would enjoy creating for my daughter with these fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI gravitate toward Vintage looking fabrics at the moment....I guess I am just 'Feelin Groovy' :)
I love the geometric prints and this made me drool!
ReplyDeleteDistracteddebra @gmail.com
I like bolder prints. the brighter the better!
ReplyDeleteYummy fabric bundle. Certainly would make a fun quilt.
ReplyDeleteI like to work with a variety of fabric designs and colors, it just depends on the project. But, I guess Bold colors would definitely be one of my favorites.
SewCalGal
www.sewcalgal.blogspot.com
I really love modern colors, with smallish prints. I'm not too big on geometrics, though. And I do love retro looking prints, especially those for children. Thanks for the chance to win! :)
ReplyDeleteLove, LOVE the geometrics!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats & what a generous way to celebrate with such a beautiful stack of fabric that I would absolutely love.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of vintage looking fabrics, but I also like muted... greys, blues, greens, browns that sort of thing.
I don't know if I'm drawn to anything in specific. I like happy colors! I am often drawn to tone on tone prints because I like using them when I need a solid but want something with more texture to it. Thinking of what I've done in the past, I like bright colors with whites, and bold colors in prints.
ReplyDeleteI like geometrics and solids! thanks!
ReplyDeletethere is NO giveaway I'd rather win than YOURS!!!! I'm such a huge fan of your craftsy classes, your felt AND your fabric. My I'd love to win.
ReplyDeleteI really had to think about this, as I suspect that I am drawn more to colour combinations than design. I like florals and geometrics and more modern designs I guess. I really like fabric that's a bit unisex. I do like more muted tones for myself, but when I make things for my daughter and her friends, I prefer brighter colours. Seriously, I am a bit like a kid in a candy store when I go into a fabric store. This is such an AWESOME giveaway. I love these fabrics of yours (particularly the blue/green/grey tones -since you are asking for preferences)
ReplyDeleteI like floral prints in bright colors and lively, but in general I love all the fabric, their smell and touch them
ReplyDeleteMant thanks
Ely
I love working with geometric prints, traditional or modern. The clean lines always inspire me for new projects.
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!
Ida
Love finding some bold colors and patterns to show case, and mix it up with some muted but related tones. I've only been quilting and sewing for about a year now, so I'm making progress as I go. LOVE the Stitch Organic line! I'd love to win some :)
ReplyDeleteI love bright colors and fun prints! I love any fabrics that have to do with nature.
ReplyDeleteYour line is so wonderful!! I am also a knitter so this line is right up my alley.
ReplyDeleteI gravitate toward bold, geometric small to mid-size prints. I love fabric that gives movement to the design.
Thanks for the great giveaway and Congratulations on such a wonderful entry to the fabric world!!
Congrats on the fabric line! I picked up a jelly roll and I think it want to become a throw for the couch. Now I just have to pick a pattern...
ReplyDeleteAs for prints, I am a huge sucker for polka dots. And stripes. And bold, colorful geometric patterns. But these rules so do not apply in my wardrobe of mostly solids. Hmm.... wonder what that says about me?
Just in case I win (since someone has to) the email is ddejongboots (AT) hotmail (DOT) com. What a great giveaway!
Wow! What a great stack. I go for any patterns....but gravitate towards the florals and big bold patterns. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI;m drawn to vintage prints, especially red/yellow/turquoise/black/gray...but also just love what I love!
ReplyDeleteWhat a generous and awesome giveaway!! I love all sorts of fabric designs and colors. mostly bold colors, some florals and geometrics--see? too hard to pick! :) I do gravitate towards certain colors depending on my mood. A lot of reds or browns, etc... Thanks to Robert Kaufman for the donation! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteI like stripes and florals, usually smaller prints. It really depends on the project for the colors--I love blues, though. Thanks for the fun giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI like bright, bold patterns mostly. Also fun patterns like robots or frogs. I try pay attention to the subtler patterns and lighter colours, too, but the bright ones are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like floral prints
ReplyDeleteI hope to be lucky.
Thanks
Beatrice Scisci
ricciolocreativo@live.it
What a nice stack of fabric! I like vintage prints....but also love to collect a theme to do patchwork.
ReplyDeleteI love traditional smaller prints that can be mixed and match with all types of lines of fabrics. Love dark colors.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a delightful stack of fabric that is! I just love the knitting designs you have you...'bout time and you did a great job with it. ;)
ReplyDeleteI tend to gravitate more towards florals myself but I do like a nice monochromatic geometric too~ its hard to choose.
Thanks for a nice giveaway!
Sadly I can't enter your giveaway but congrats to you for such a fine collection.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance! I love Bright Colors small or large scale...
ReplyDeleteHello!
ReplyDeleteI love big, warm and inviting prints. Anything to make you say, "Yay! I'm alive!" kind of colors and prints.
Wow, what a great giveaway! I'd have to say that my favourite, while I do like muted colours, has to be smaller florals. I was covered in them as a child, hated them as a teen, then came to love them as an adult.
ReplyDeleteI've not seen your fabrics at my local shop yet, but I hope they show up soon. :)
Oops, almost forgot: my email is froggieogreen (at) gmail (dot) com.
I love any pattern but am drawn to bright, fun colors, especially paired with white.
ReplyDeletestephanie

I'm ADD about prints - one day I'll like bold geometrics, and another day I'll like quiet earthy prints. I do love large scale florals consistently though. Especially if they're in an unusual color pallet.
ReplyDeletei love florals and geometrics.
ReplyDeleteI love bright colors! I also love vintage prints. I really appreciate the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI like modern prints of small to medium scale. Geometrics, abstracts and stylized florals, leaves or other natural elements. I like bright unusual color combos or beautiful subtle neutrals
ReplyDeleteI love bright modern color combinations. I also gravitate towards small scale prints. These would be so amazing to win! My fingers are crossed.
ReplyDeleteI love all kinds of prints gravitating more to colors. Right now I've been loving just about any color paired with brown.
ReplyDeleteLove large scale prints and florals. Gravitate to bolder colors, but not always! What a great giveaway...thanks to your sponsors!
ReplyDeleteWhat a colorful collection! I really like the floral with the bright green background. I guess that's what I always gravitate to - green. But generally I do like florals. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDelete~Sue
sue.romero@yahoo.com
I gravitate towards fabric shops! Any fabric that jumps at me gets to come home with me--I'll create something with it. I love tropicals. Thank you for the giveaways; this one is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWow! Would love to win! I gravitate toward geometrics, but I'm starting to eye florals a little more these days... perhaps because I'm thinking of spring?
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful fabric! Thanks for a great give away. I like brights, since most of the quilts I make go to Project Linus.
ReplyDeleteI always seem to be a bit muted or pastel - but I'm really really trying to get bolder, braver and I think I'm getting there ... slowly ;-)
ReplyDeleteUm, all of the above! For me, it's more about color and how the prints will mix together. I like to mix up print types for a more scrappy look. Beautiful line - those blues Gand greens are great.
ReplyDeleteWow what a nice giveaway! I love bold colors and also cute prints. I don't remember the designer bit just bought some of fabric that shows how to make paper airplanes, do cute.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, these are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI lean toward modern prints, bold to muted colors, no pastels. Small prints, usually.
I find myself with a lot of modern florals and novelty prints, but anything with an interesting color palette will catch my eye!
ReplyDeletebethgsiegel at gmail dot com
I like all sorts of prints - modern, some florals, small geometrics, etc. Anything that's fun and interesting.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win! ccmailnc at yahoo dot com
I have a little bit of everything, but they mostly fall into the holiday category (Christmas and Halloween), knitting themed fabric (yarn and/or sheep), or prints with sweets or coffee. I'm also drawn towards the folksy, vintage geometric patterns on fabric lately too.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful fabrics! I tend to gravitate to geometric prints.
ReplyDeleteRight now I like clear, bright, bold color. Patterns could range from background "solids" to paisley to floral or whatever. Color draws me more than pattern. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm using up a lot of scraps in an eccentric, brightly colored quilt. So next I'm looking forward to a coherent line in understated colors (specifically: Joel Dewberry).
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, it looks especially gorgeous all stacked up like that!
ReplyDeleteBecause I sew for the children's hospital I tend to go towards cutesy, flowery prints or Batman type prints but I realize I need more geometric for the older teens at the hospital. This fabric would be awesome for the guys and girls.
ReplyDeleteI like a variety of colors, patterns depending on the type of quilt as well as what I want to do with the quilt and who will get my quilt - a young child, friend, myself, ... traditional, primitive, civil war type, thirties, and when I am a playful mood I want brights,, cheerful...
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI love your new collection!
I prefer Florals & Retro fabrics.
I also loved your book, and was inspired by it in my sewing!
What an amazing giveaway! Thanks for the opportunity. I am typically drawn to both muted AND brighter colored fabrics. I love florals and some unique and cute prints.
ReplyDeleteI love vintage with muted colors. However, my daughter inspires me with her bold, modern aesthetic.
ReplyDeleteI love flowers, and bright ones at that! But what really draws me are contrasting fabrics that go together well. Mix and match that work together well, but are a surprise... Your fabric is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI go for modern and bold. I tend to go for smaller rather than very large patterns or prints.
ReplyDeleteI am generally a fan of clear/clean patterns, no muddiness or heathered colors, and I like the traditional/modern style--striped, uniform polka dots, but I also love what I'd call a "neat organic" look--simple leaves, clouds, raindrops, birds. I'm a weird one, but I know what I like!
ReplyDeleteI love bright bold prints and cutsie ones. Thanks for the chance to win!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE color and so many different styles of fabric. Lately I've been stashing a lot of geometrics and more modern prints, mostly because I was lacking them.
Thanks so much for this chance! I love modern prints with bright colors. Some big flowers some geometric.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great giveaway! Thanks for the chance to win. I love all kind of fabrics especially organics. I will prefer either bold patterns in bright colours or small cute flowers in pastels. gloria_villamil@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteGloria x
I'm a traditional floral person in mostly muted colors. Just found your blog and love it!
ReplyDeleteOh how fun! I love modern, bold florals as well as modern, bold geometrics. :)
ReplyDeleteSo cool!! I love bold prints but "ditzy prints" sound great too. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI love color. The brighter the better. I love modern prints...but am also drawn to simple stripes or polka dots.
ReplyDeleteI have a soft spot for retro/modern prints in bright blues and green and if I'm feeling brave citrus. I would love to use your beautiful fabrics in a project.
ReplyDeleteHi Betz! That stack is so enticing! Love the crochet backdrop! I gravitate toward geometrics and I love saturated color. Congrats on Stitch and thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteEither something grabs me or it doesn't. Sometimes it's a color combo that I want in a lot of different prints, others it's a print that I have to have in every color it comes in. Lately I've been into upholstery fabric samples, in all weights, colors and textures. Why? I dunno! Also into 1950s retro prints and colors - very comforting, like going back home, as I enter my 4th childhood. Thanks for a really sweet giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThose floral prints will knock my socks off every day, especially darker backgrounds. I am a flower girl.
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty eclectic in my tastes, love traditional florals mixed with bold prints. Muted mostly, but some brights thrown in here and there.
Thank you again!
Oh how exciting, these are lovely! When I was pregnant, we decided not to learn the gender if our baby. That's when I learned that most things made for kids is for boys or girls. That really touched a nerve so I'm big on colorful, gender neutral prints, mostly geometrics I guess.
ReplyDeleteI love and have it all, except your bundle. Traditional seems to make my heart sing the most.
ReplyDeletelhs4664(at)q(dot)com
Thank you for the chance to win. What a lovely stack of fabric!! I love all fabric !!!! Love traditional, modern, 1930's, brights you name it.
ReplyDeleteMy eye is typically drawn to bold funky prints especially if they have a touch of whimsy to them. I seem to steer toward reds teals and oranges a lot.
ReplyDeleteCurrently working on a Modern print but next project is traditional.
ReplyDeleteHallo,
ReplyDeleteI like all fabrics. From civil war till modern. The colors sould be bold colors. I like little prints and most uni fabics.
Thank you for your pretty Blog
Elke from Germany
This is fabulous! I recently bought a new machine and these prints would be so fun to play with!
ReplyDeleteI tend to gravitate towards bold colors, modern and geometric prints!
Thanks for such a generous giveaway!
Graphic, bold and bright and I am naming my next puppy Kona!
ReplyDeleteI love really modern, fresh looking prints. I also have a weakness for anything paisley: go figure!
ReplyDeleteI love any kind of aquatic color - given that palate, just about any form suits me - I find that as I have gotten older, my tastes have actually become broader rather than narrower. I must say that the bottom half of your stack suits me to a T in terms of my color preferences, but the top half is providing new inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity!
Love your new collection. I'd say I'm a vintage person, but love deeper color, not pastels. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love larger, bold colored prints. But I find I'm also really drawn to prints that are a bit rustic looking - I have several prints in my stash that remind me of the scenes in Dirty Dancing 2 when they are in Cuba! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
Rae Lynne (raelynne01@hotmail.com)
i gravitate towards fabrics with lots of color and modern prints. I like bold or small prints. I love fabric!
ReplyDeleteyanuzo at hotmail dot com
Hi Betz,
ReplyDeleteI love modern prints and images of birds and trees. I am also crazy about chocolate brown for some reason right now. It would be wonderful to win! I really liked your earlier fabrics. My address is tthorme at yahoo dot com.
Cheers,
Trisha
oh pretty prints. I love florals, modern prints, and ditsy prints as well. What a magnificent giveaway!!! Thank you! Hope I have luck.
ReplyDeleteBetz:
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great Stich give-away! I love folk floral fabrics and tonal fabrics, like those found in your Stitch collection.
Geometrics are my favorite, but like most quilters, I love them ALL.
ReplyDeleteYour new collection is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love mostly bold, colorful, small and happy prints =]
Oh, thank you for givind a chance! Ansering your question - I like traditional and floral prints with small elements.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Elena pOlenko
What a fun way to add fabrics to my projects
ReplyDeleteI guess I carry a mixed bag, but tend to be more traditional. I think I am more drawn to color, or combinations of colors, more than the patterns. Good luck with the fabric line! (jimnems2@gmail.com)
ReplyDeleteMy tendency is to go for a medium to small scale print and I love to mix florals with geometric prints; my color palette can be bright and bold or strong color in browns and greens. What a great chance to possibly win some of your great fabrics!
ReplyDeleteKristin
Congrats! They are beautiful!!! I tend to love floral prints with lots of color :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for this great giveaway! I go for modern prints, mostly bold color but sometimes take a break with a more neutral project. I guess I like a little of everything!
ReplyDeleteI love color and more vintage/modern mix.
ReplyDeleteI definitely find myself gravitating toward bright geometrics, like Ta Dots and pretty much any kind of stripe. The best ones, for me, have a distinctly modern vibe.
ReplyDeleteAnd that stack is saying great things in that same vibe!
Are you kidding? I consider myself an unrepentant textile-aholic! I am love the modern prints but usually don't use them in household decor. I love civil war prints, too! Love to make quilts with those. Plus, 30's 40's and 50's bright happy prints, my kitchen is mostly this style....kind sounds like I'm a mess! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely give-away!
ReplyDeleteI've always been drawn to swirly, complicated patterns with loops and dots...love damask, anything black and white...and also muted colors like sage green, rust, and grey.
I've got two cute babies that would love some clothes and blankies made from these fabrics!
Very nice, thank you! And congrats!!!
ReplyDeleteI love bold colors! And since I sew mostly for children right now, playful prints and shapes also catch my eye.
Thanks for the lovely giveaway...
ReplyDeleteI am drawn to all sorts of prints, some favorites: geometric eye bending patterns, old fashioned symbols, geometric florals, patterns that bring the forest, woods and fairies to mind....
I love color, bright and pretty prints, solids and patterns. The bolder the better! Thanks for the giveaway.... Angela Fitch
ReplyDeleteendure1231 (at) gmail (dot) com
It's so gorgeous sitting there all wrapped up together!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty eclectic and buy all sorts of fabric. But, if I was going to choose one thing that I gravitate towards it would be prints with little illustrations that appear hand-drawn. And bright colors. I love bright, rainbow-y colors.
I would like to play.
ReplyDeleteWonderful fabrics.:)
I like them with tiny pattarn, flowers, squarea anything...:)
http://petite-armoire.blogspot.com/
Greetings
Bernadett
Just love the new fabric line. Your blog is a pleasure to read. I am an eclectic when it comes to fabric. I like to mix things that would not seem likely to work together. Traditional floral with minimalist geometrics, silks and cottons, colors that clash, etc. Makes for an interesting sewing experience. Laura
ReplyDeleteModern, ditzy, bold colors... but always what draws me are the novelty prints :)... I also get drawn in by how a line looks all together, so if there are eye catching combos (grey, orange, purple, or yellow teal orange) then I'll always stop to take a look.
ReplyDeleteI gravitate toward organic shapes and geometric prints, often with botanical themes.
ReplyDeleteI also can't stop loving all the Japanese tiny illustrated kids style prints.
I gravitate towards oranges and pinks. Florals, stripes, and more bold colors than pastels.
ReplyDeleteWhen browsing I'm drawn to bold prints- especially Japanese imports. But when I'm picking out fabrics specifically for a quilt I tend to pick out small scale prints and traditional patterns. kcarlson1152[at]hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win the R Kaufman giveaway - that stack is just what I like to create with & the colors are beautiful! Your blog is an inspiration to me & my daughters.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with all the modern prints...I want more fabric every time a new line comes out!
ReplyDeleteWould LOVE to have these beautiful fabrics! Right now, my color choices are vibrant solid colors because I am working on things to match my Amish Quilt - black background, with a double wedding ring pattern of solid "Amish Colors" - for smaller crafts and gifts, I tend toward small florals or bright funky patterns. Oh what the heck, the truth is - I love fabric!
ReplyDeleteI love mod type prints in fun colors, pretty much any colors but pastels. Funky geometrics with a lot of contrast please :)
ReplyDeleteJust finished several big projects so could use some inspiration!
If I have to pick from your list it would be modern geometrics, large or small, and anything in bright vibrant colors!! Congrats on your 1st fabric line and I loved your "green" book. I checked it out at the library as I can't afford to buy it just yet but it's on my list!
ReplyDeleteI just love all kinds of fabrics. I do like all colors, but tend to gravitate to bright funky colors. I think smaller to medium prints do better with quilting, but I do love big prints for other things.

Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love bold, graphic and large scale
prints.
I love modern/retro cheerful colored prints. Hipster doofus prints!
ReplyDeleteI like prints that are Geometric, Modern, Traditional, that don't incorporate too many colors, or are monochromatic, etc.
ReplyDeleteWhat do I prefer? Reproductions are my normal gig...ok Civil war Repro. to be exact. HOWEVER on a spring whelm I have been known to pick VERY bright, large flower prints, that seem too realistic to be fabric. I make them into bags or large picnic blankets.- Mary
ReplyDeleteI love your fabrics. I especially love all blog. I have a BOM i am working on for my BFF's new baby, i think these fabrics would be perfect, since she is the one that introduced me to you. I love modern designs with a sprinkle of traditional. Thanks for the offering!
ReplyDeleteI love working with all colors and prints. I like to donate my work to others who are in need of help.

Fabric junky- I like arts and crafts patterns and soft colours! But I love all fabric :)
ReplyDeletewow what a fantastic giveaway! I like strong colors and good contrasts, because I am almost blind so I need those contrasts if I want to be able to see the patterns! I do like geometric shapes, usually because those have clean lines separating them from the background and therefore giving me the contrasts ... I do like subtle shades and complex patterns, but it disappoints me when I can't really see the detail :( ... however if somebody describes the fabrics for me I can happily work with what I see in my mind! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks again for hosting this great giveaway!

I don't know what kind of fabrics I like because I am just now becoming interested in them! I do tend to like bright rainbows in general though...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collection! I love all the colors. I tend to gravitate towards bold, graphic colors and prints.
ReplyDeleteI tend to gravitate to modern prints as well as bright colors.
ReplyDeleteI adooooore ditsy prints, but I also love a bold geometric or vintage-y floral. I'm trying to expand my horizons, though, now that I have a baby boy (he doesn't look so good in florals).
ReplyDeleteSo excited to see organic fabric! I usually choose bright colored modern and graphic prints. Sometimes traditional though.
ReplyDeleteLove all your fabrics! Especially love tiny fun prints in soft colors! A fabric store is like a candy shop!
ReplyDeletei love florals, art deco style prints, whimsical, and anything with animals on it.
ReplyDeleteI love prints with THINGS on them! Any things- whales, robots, owls, lobsters!
