Join me this fall for my Holiday Stitch-along Ornament Club! One new design will be revealed each month from now through December, for a total of 4 unique ornament patterns. Join the club and get a jump on your holiday crafting!
How does it work?
Register at the bottom of this post starting September 3rd. The cost of the club is $12. A Welcome to the Club email with a general supply list will be sent to you when you sign up. Materials will not be provided. On Monday, September 9th, you’ll receive an email with the first ornament PDF pattern. Each of the remaining PDF patterns will be released and emailed to you on the first Monday of the next 3 months. (October 7th, November 4th and December 2nd) You may join the club at any time and still be able to get all four patterns!
What do I need to participate?
You will need access to a computer, the internet, a printer and Adobe Reader. A camera and a Flickr account are optional but highly recommended so you can share your work with the rest of the club!
Iâm a beginner, can I join?
Absolutely! Each ornament PDF pattern comes with clear instruction, diagrams, photos and is suitable for confident beginners. Hand sewing will be used for the projects as well as some machine sewing and basic embroidery stitches. Felt is the primary material being used as well as ribbon, beads and other easy-to-use items.
Can I buy the ornament patterns individually?
The PDF pattern for each ornament will be available for purchase individually in my Etsy and my Craftsy shops. Individual ornament patterns will be released the Friday after the pattern is delivered to club members. Note that purchasing the Club represents a significant discount over purchasing each pattern separately. No refunds can be given for buying the patterns separately and then, at a later date, purchasing the complete Club.  Â
Why are the ornament designs a secret?
Thatâs the fun part of this stitch-along club! Each month will be a surprise when you receive the newest ornament pattern in your inbox. And arenât the holidays all about surprises? If youâre game for show and tell, there will be a Flickr group for the club to post your creations and to connect you to other members of the club. Iâll also be sharing tips, techniques and variations of the ornaments on my blog.
Â
When you purchase your club membership youâll be able to download the Welcome PDF immediately. It contains a general supply list, stitch glossary and release calendar. The Holiday Stitch-along Ornament Club is $12. I hope youâll join me and please let me know if you have any questions!
UPDATE: The 2013 Club is now closed to sign-ups. All 2013 ornaments are available for individual purchase in my Etsy and Craftsy shops. Subscribe to my email newsletter for news, tips and info about upcoming clubs!
This sounds wonderful! Is there a sample ornament to get an idea of what they might look like?
Hi Betz!
Well, I just went and stalked your Etsy shop to see ornament-like things that are on there… and they seem lovely. đ As for me peeking, I’ll never tell!

Here is a handy link to last year’s ornament round-up to give you an idea:

OHH sounds like fun. I love to give ornaments for gifts. What type will they be, cross stitch, quilted, any hints.
thanks
cathy
HINT: They are all made from felt, hand stitched (a bit of machine sewing), some with embroidery, some with beads and trim. All perfect as gifts!
This sounds like so much fun! I think I’ll sign up!
I signed up. The code for the badge doesn’t work for me though đ
Thanks Jenny! Sorry about the badge code, I will fix it asap and update it in the next email you’ll receive as a club member. Thanks for the heads up!
Surely sounds like a lot of fun. I may sign up. Do you reckon the projects take a long time to complete? Happy to see I am not the only one getting busy with the C word…
Hi Raphaele,
I would estimate each ornament to take an hour or 2 to stitch up, depending on the design and your experience.
Hope you join us!
Betz
