I'm giddy. The little button on the Amazon listing for my book has changed from "pre-order" to "add to shopping cart"! Big news indeed! (I feel like Steve Martin in The Jerk when the new phone books arrived.)
First of all, I would like to let you know that I have a limited number of books available in my etsy shop should you prefer to buy a signed copy directly from me. I will be getting more soon, but for this short time before the holidays, I have 20 copies available.
Now that the book is officially out in the world, I feel like we should have a little "book launch" party. Shall we? I'm not the big party type, but with you, my bloggy readers, I would love to celebrate. Since you can't all come over for cupcakes and coffee, I'll have to come up with another plan.
A give-away perhaps? Yes, that sounds lovely. After all, without you and all of your crafty support, there might not even be a book. Therefore, I will be giving away 3 Cupcake Pincushions!
Ok, so here's the scoop. Between now and December 31st:
1) Send me an email at betzATbetzwhiteDOTcom (replace AT and DOT with appropriate symbols)
2) Put something in the subject line like, "I love cupcakes!"
3) On January 1st I will draw three lucky winners! Please, only one entry per person.

I got an email from Amazon over the weekend that my book is due to arrive TODAY! I will let you know when it gets here. Congratulations!

So after sitting in traffic for an hour and arriving home thoroughly exhausted, it was a wonderful surprise to see my Amazon box on my doorstep! Congratulations on an AMAZING job!!! It is even better than I could have possibly expected! I was particularly thrilled to see that there were so many patterns for adults--I am so excited to hit the Goodwill to get started on the bomber hat!

I found your blog through the Craft magazine blog last week. The funny thing is, I was in the middle of felting my very first thrifted wool clothing when I started reading your posts! Anyway, this week I made a little handbag using a felted wool scarf and I'm just thrilled with it.
