Happy friday before Christmas! Busy like elves, all of us….just a few newsworthy mentions for you today before I’m off to do some long neglected house cleaning before guests arrive…
Today, 12/21, is the LAST DAY for the plush exhibit in SoHo at gallery Hanahou. I think they still have some of my Cup O’ Joes and the felty birdhouse. So if you’re in NYC, check it out. Many awesome softie artists participated in this show.
Also, for those of you interested in the DIY phenomenon and Etsy.com, there’s an excellent article in the New York Times. I passed it along to my mom to help explain this crazy crafty resurgence of which I am apparently a part! 🙂
Also, a quick yet heartfelt thank you to everyone who has bought or “wish listed” my book. I signed up to blog over on Amazon and hope to have a FAQ page on my website early in the new year to satisfy inquiring minds….(Did you see that they have added the “search inside” feature?)
Ok, now what is going on in that photo up there? Uh…all I can say is I have to finish it before dinner on Christmas Eve. If I am successful, I will show it to you after Christmas…
