Hi,
I went hiking this past weekend with my sister and some of the nurses she works with. We climbed a mountain, the scenery with breath-taking, and finished the day with good food and good company.
One of the nurses is an avid quilter and crafter. Linda showed me the cupcake pincushions and felted Christmas stockings she was working on. I feel in love with her projects and just had to know all about them. You see I am a Family and Consumer Science teacher from Long Island who also loves to quilt, craft, knit, etc.

Linda gave me your website and here I am. I have already order your book, "Warm Fuzzies", raided my sister's closet for old wool sweaters (my Mom's too), and took apart two ot those on the ferry ride home last night. I am ready to wash them tonight and can't wait for the UPS truck to arrive.

I teach in a brand new middle school that happens to be the first green school in all of the state of New York. Your philosophy of recycling fits right in with my classroom and my own personal beliefs. I am already looking forward to your next book before I even get into this one.

I am always looking for inexpensive decorations as our budget is tight. If you can send me ideas I would appreciate it. Also, you have many dates and blogs on your site that I am looking forward to surfing through, however if you know of any particular projects that would be attractive to middle school students (6th - 8th grade) I would love your suggestions.
Thank you,
Barbara Bickford
