lego my cupcake

This is what happens when you are:

• playing with your kids' new stash of legos

• have cupcakes on the brain

• inspired by the clever simplicity of this

• amazed by the complexity of this

Still perfecting them...they're a little too *house* looking! BTW, small shop update tomorrow! Cup O' Joe Pincushions!

Hey Betz,

Finally finished the rustic throw for my bro and he loved it. Quite cute considereing he is my big brother and all. I have three boys in my house and we are all lego crazy. It's amazing how much time we can all spend sitting together on the floor creating. The beautiful thing about legos is the appeal to all ages of children, my 2 year old loves them as much as my almost 7 year old.

This week I am thinking about making some giant lounging pillows for the playroom with birds and bears(polar) on them possibly...happy sunday, Mariah

Hi Betz,
Here's a link to a Lego MasterBuilder's event in Tyson's Corner -- thought you might be interested with the kids. I took Jack to one in Baltimore a few years ago and it's a very fun event. Plus, the kids can take their own lego creation to share with the Lego Master Builder and maybe even win a big prize. It's a very fun event. Here's the link...

you are so funny. well, at least those lego's are getting used! I used to say "oh sure, we'd love your hand-me-down legos", but I think I said that a little too often!

I love your cuppa java--since my husband's business is coffee, we have it on the brain and in the hand here often. Do you know Steamwork's Coffee in North Minneapolis? One of my former students is the owner. Thanks for the cupcake ornament pdf--my little boy wants a "birthday tree" it seems like these would be the perfect ornaments:).
