Spot-on Reversible Scarf

Fall has arrived and I have just the scarf for cool autumn weather: the Spot-on Reversible Scarf. It's got yummy repurposed cashmere with reverse applique on one side. The other: Luxurious organic cotton sateen...in one of my new print colorations for fall!

You can find the instructions for making this scarf in the Fall 2009 issue of Stitch Magazine, on newsstands now. This is a great issue, packed with sewing projects featuring sheer fabrics, Japanaese crafts, accessories and my favorite, delicious wool.

It's such a kick to have a project featured in a magazine, but this time it's extra special for me. It's the first time one of my organic fabrics has made it into a magazine! This print, along with others, will be available in my shop later this week! Stay tuned for the full reveal...

The postman delivered my copy of the magazine this very morning (yay !), and while I gave it a first quick browsing, I immediately spoted this scarf and saw a perfect gift for someone of my family in it, it's really lovely !

It's such a cute project! I haven't seen a sewn scarf before that I thought I'd actually wear, but this one might fit the bill. Now just to find some cashmere to recycle!

Congratulations! I'll have to check my B&N for the magazine. I've never seen it before, but it looks lovey. Your scarf is lovely, too, of course. :)

Such cute stuff! I am ready to break out the old singer sewing machine that has collected dust for quite some time and start a sewing project.

This scarf is absolutely WONDERFUL !! Will you propose the pdf pattern in your shop or even better the kit with the fabrics ??!! I won't be able to get my hand on a book copy as I live in Belgium but I really would like to buy a pattern or a kit with pattern ;-) Thanks so much ! Sandrine
