Local Workshop: Bits of Thread

This Saturday, April 28th, I'll be teaching at Bits of Thread in Washington DC. The class is called Vintage Re-mix Wrap Skirt and there are still a few spots open!

We'll  transform favorite vintage linens into a cute reversible skirt for spring. Combine tea towels, table cloths, retro sheets or fabric from your stash into a one-of-a-kind addition to your wardrobe. And since the skirt is reversible, you get 2 in one! Yay!

Join me, won't you?

  1. For those of us who aren't local, will you be making the pattern available anywhere? Because it's adorable & I'd love to try my hand at it.

  2. Hi Librarian Amy,
Yes! I'm glad you asked. This skirt is also a project in my online course "Project Upcycle" via Craftsy.com. Just click on the link in the sidebar for more info!

  4. Love it and so right on for spring. Was going to make a skirt very similar to this using just one fabric, but this is so much more interesting. Inspiring!
